As yet there is no specific body to target the cleaning up of the river.

Rioting erupted after Snyder Rini was elected PM who is seen as having close links with the corruption tainted administration iof his predecessor Allan Kemakeza. - Bosnia (Eastern Europe), Archeologists have discovered an ancient pyramid hidden beneath a massive hill, near town of Visoko. Semir Osmanagic (Bosnian archeologist) beleives the pyramid is a colossal 220 metres. The huge stone blocks discovered appear to be cut in cubes.
- Sudan (North East Africa), Darfur, Jan Egeland, UN emergency relief coordinator has told the UN security council that the releif effort in Darfur could collapse. Only 20% of funding has been received and the Sudan goverment has been imposing restrictions (travel permits, visas, clearence, for imported relif items and equipment). Aid workers face constant threats and WFP trucks and other aid vehicles have been hijacked.
- Meanwhile Peace talks continue in Abuja, Nigerian Capital, between Sudan Goverment, Janjaweed, Sudan Liberation movement, and Justice and equality movement.
